I’ve worked in high-end restaurants and wine since the age 25–almost 25 years in the hospitality industry overall. I’ve played a major role in opening five bars and/or restaurants over the years and have experience in virtually every aspect of running both high-end restaurants and retail businesses. I’ve collected numerous awards and accolades along the way including Best of Boston ‘Best Sommelier’ and ‘Best Wine Program’ awards in 2011 and 2012 from Boston Magazine/The Globe. Over the years, I’ve thought frequently about building something of my own, but I’ve always wanted it to be connected to something bigger and more holistic. Now that we have our farm and proximity to other amazing farms and fisherpeople it feels like the right time to build a place that exemplifies the food and wine culture that we want to exist here.
